The Verona Columns in Mission Hills, Kansas provides a great background for the completely restored 1940 Mercury Coupe. The current owner told me this was a barn find. It had been completely restored 20 years ago by a couple in Ottawa, Kansas. After restoration, the car sat in the Barn for 20 years. Several years back, the husband passed away. The current owner said, that all he had to do was change some fluids, adjust the carburetor, replace some misc. parts, put a coat of wax on it and drive it as you see it today.
